Monthly meeting and breakfast every first Saturday of the month.
Post 28 Legionnaires, Sons of the American Legion and Ladies Auxiliary meets on the first Saturday of each month at 0930. We have a short opening ceremony and then recess for a hot breakfast buffet, reconvening the meeting about 1000. Many members start arriving about 0830 to enjoy coffee and juice and talking among friends before the meeting. We are usually done by 1100 but a few members will stay around for more social time afterwards. The Ladies Auxiliary meet in the Executive Board Room after breakfast while the Legion and Sons members meet in the main hall.
Bridge for novices from 9:00 to 11:30 on Wednesdays at the American Legion Post 28 in Duncan Park. Instructors will help you bid and earn Masterpoints.
Thank you for contacting Tollie Ross. He will get back to you as soon as possible

We invite you you to post a comment in our guest book under the Home tab. You may also register as a "member" and once set up you can post your pictures in the Photo Albums, also under the Home tab. Please note, the "members" tab is not a Post roster of members but anyone who visits and registers with this web site.
Since our charter date 29 June 1921, our American Legion Post has welcomed veterans from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel who served our country during specified periods of conflict. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country, and Community. Our mission and purpose is to support the Preamble of the American Legion Constitution. You can read the Preamble on this Website under the "About the Legion" tab. Our success depends on understanding and supporting the fight for veteran's rights; past, present, and future, and it is never ending. While our purpose remains unchanged, our capabilities have not. For our continued success we will attempt to support and provide first rate service to our veterans and our community.
We accept major credit cards for hall rentals, dues payments, Legion merchandise purchases, and just about anything else you may wish to purchase from the Post. The Adjutant handles all such transactions.
