Letter from Auxiliary President Geneva Padgett

Time to hear from your Auxiliary President again. Thanks girls, our Soup and Salad dinner was a great success with good fellowship and the best food. The fashion show is really in the making. Mary Miner has designed a great flyer and tickets. And guess what! The men are going to strut their stuff and model. This should be a great affair. In April, we are planning a luncheon to honor our female Post members, past presidents, new members, and prospective members. All members are welcome.  May brings our Boys and Girls State Reception to honor the delegates for the 69th Palmetto Boys and Girls State. Then on Memorial Day weekend, we have several events: placing flags on the veterans' graves at Heritage Cemetery, distributing poppies at different locations, the memorial service at Duncan Park and ending Sunday evening at USC Upstate. Let's not forget the American Legion baseball team. They will need our help.
